For those who may be new to the series, Yakuza 0 is an action-adventure game developed by Sega. The game takes place in 1988, in the midst of the Japanese economic bubble, and follows the story of two protagonists: Kazuma Kiryu, a low-ranking member of the Dojima Family, and Goro Majima, a former yakuza member turned nightclub owner. The game explores their early days, as they navigate the complex world of organized crime in Kamurocho, a fictionalized version of Tokyo's Shinjuku district.
Although the game has received further updates through Steam over the years, the v3.2-PLAZA patch is often highlighted because it was the moment Yakuza 0 on PC truly felt complete.
