To make a new custom PNP skin, you create a new folder under [MC_PROGRAM_FOLDER]\Skins\Playing Now Popup . For example, C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center 33\Skins\Playing Now Popup\My New Skin .
Theater View skins are stored under the Media Center installation path, typically in a folder called FULL SKINS\<Skin Name> . If the default installation path is used, the included "Noire" skin would be located in C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center\Full Skins\Noire . Interestingly, Theater View skins may either be standalone or may use a (like the "Shared" folder) and apply their own customizations.
These alter the 10-foot user interface designed for televisions, home theater PCs (HTPCs), and remote control navigation.

Older JRiver skins do not support high-DPI scaling. Look for skins labeled "Scale", "Modern", or specifically built for high-resolution monitors to avoid pixelation.

Extract the folder. Ensure the extracted folder contains the skin files directly (like an main.xml or image assets), rather than another nested subfolder.
