In this moment, Geet’s mind floods with painful flashbacks of her traumatic journey so far: her romantic meetings with Dev and his beautiful declarations of love, the humiliation of being abandoned at the airport, the sting of her brother’s violence, and the ultimate degradation of being forced to remove her mangalsutra and sindoor.
